Katie and Terrence were dating since they were teenagers, and because of this they have a deep-rooted relationship, like the gorgeous Moreton Bay fig tree they were married under that’s been growing on the lawn at the Camarillo Ranch since 1905. Their April 2014 wedding was a blast with their close-knit group of guests, including friends turned wedding vendors photographer Kelly Balch and DJ Brett Lewis. It was wonderful getting to know them, and I’m sure I’ll stay friends with them for a long time.
As I planned their wedding I got to know their style, from their converse wedding shoes to their love of IPA and craft beer. For her bridal look, Katie mixed vintage elegance with comfort. She chose all white converse to match her groom and keep her feet from getting sore. The entire wedding party did the same.
The inside of the Victorian house was the perfect location for some getting ready shots with the girls.
And don’t forget Katie’s adorable nephew, Kyler.
And then everyone took their seats on the lawn and the wedding ceremony began.
And they became husband and wife.
