Kevin and Lauren met while going to school at CSU Channel Islands but their romance has taken them all across the world. They moved to the East Coast where they both went to Law School and they frequently traveled for work, school, and adventure. It was a no-brainer to have a travel themed wedding. From the invites, to the table numbers, to the card box there were travel themed touches sprinkled throughout their wedding. It truly represented who they are and what they love. As a wedding planner, I really love when couples personalize their weddings and make them unique. Kevin and Lauren’s Westlake Village Inn celebration was 100% them. BTW- Did I mention that Kevin learned guitar and surprised his bride with a song?
The couple really personalized the entire experience by starting the travel theme early with their customized invites.
They made their own logo with a heart and an airplane.
Even the water bottles were personalized with their logo and names!
The escort cards were made into plane tickets, that indicated where they were going using place that Kevin & Lauren had traveled together instead of table numbers. These tickets had the date, time and indicated their meal selection. What a well-thought idea by such a creative bride and groom.
The entire bridal party got getting ready outfits to show their personal style.
The best man’s twin girls were co-flower girls, but had unique dresses to show off their personal style.
This couple had one of the sweetest first-looks I’ve ever seen.
And everyone who knows me knows I love an outdoor wedding ceremony near a body of water.
The couple did the hora as a nod to Lauren’s jewish family members. You can tell by Kevin’s face that it was his first time up in a chair!
Kevin learned how to play guitar and surprised Lauren with a song they both love.
