Rustic Sage Mood Board

As an event planner I’ve been using mood boards pretty much forever to get my design inspiration. I’ve found them on wedding blogs, I’ve created them informally via Pinterest, and now I figured its time I make my own. I used Canva to make my mood board. I was inspired by the green barn at the McCormack Ranch seen in the upper right photo.

Did you know that the Pantone color of the year is greenery? Every wedding uses greenery here and there, but it’s really on trend as a focal point. Lately I’ve been seeing many different tones of green that are all lovely, but today I decided to focus on sage-y tones. Fall is my favorite season especially all things Halloween and harvest. This fall I’ve been really into both non-orange pumpkins and eucalyptus. Without further adieu, here’s my first attempt at a mood board.
