A Look Back At 2017

I was encouraged by a group of wedding planners to start an end of the year tradition and take a look back at all of the weddings I’ve done in the last year. In 2017, I had seven wonderfully unique weddings. I loved all of the couples I got to know this year.

First up, Emily & Brent got married at Reptacular Ranch with a rustic country feel. Here’s a photo of the bride and groom with a group of their friends in their DIY Photo Booth with a green velvet couch and a pyramid haystack. They were so much fun!

In October I had five weddings in three weeks! It was a crazy month, and really tested my organizational skills! The first weekend of the month I had the opportunity to coordinate Danielle & Michael’s shindig at Calamigos Ranch. They partied hard under the gorgeous twinkling lights in Malibu. This bride was serious boho #goals!

I spent the very next day with Sarah & Artin’s friends and family at the Palm Garden Hotel, where we celebrated their joyous union. They had a sweet garden ceremony and danced the night away at a banquet hall celebration. It was a joy getting to know them all.

The following weekend I found myself coordinating an old co-worker’s wedding at a Longren Ranch in Santa Clarita. Jenny & Russell had a beautiful country wedding, and she looked like a true southern belle. It was great catching up with some of my mortgage industry friends that I haven’t seen in awhile!

I haven’t received the full gallery, so stay tuned for a full post!

The very next day I coordinated a wedding that was planned by my friend Vanessa at Best Dream Weddings.  Millie & Tom were married in Marina Del Rey at the Marriott. I’ve worked at this venue several times as an assistant, but never before as lead coordinator. It was a sweet evening.

The last of the my epic October weddings was definitely not the least! Brooke & Chris were married at Smoky Hollow Studios in El Segundo. This couple has amazing taste, and hired the raddest vendor team. I can definitely add it to my list of favorites.

Next up is Chelsea & Mitch. They got married at Los Robles Greens, I don’t have the full gallery yet but here’s a sneak peak! If you check in next month you’ll see the full post.

I don’t have any photos yet from the last two weddings of the year, but I will post when I do. Thank you so much for all of your love and support through it all. Now off to spend time with these guys!
